2016 VISION
“NEW WAY 2016”
The new vision of GMH was developed by employee themselves in ‘Year 2006 Competition of Innovative Idea‘, in order to share common goals and values.
• Goal - toward a world class hospital (a hospital which would like to come again and be trusted)
• Core value – Establish very high level of medical service systems (a center of excellent medical service in South Korea by continuous improvement of service qualities)
• Action principles - knowledge based management, specializing medical services, feeling happiness and pride of employees’

2009
- Be awarded the commissioned management of mental health center in pyeong teak.
- Gained an award of a provincial governor in a meeting for volunteers in Gyeongi-Do.
- Authorization of the Ministry of Health and Welfare Ranked as 1st level of management of acute stroke patients.
- Certified as Best HRD (Human Resource Development) by the Ministry of Labor and four-government Departments.
- Contracted a cooperative relationship with “Yonsei Mirae Hospital”.
- Contracted cooperative relationships with Hongik hospital (Director: Suckchan La), “E-Medi technology-information (Representative: Sangphil Kim)”, and “Medi-in-net” for the next generation Integrated Medical Information System solution.
- Adoption of EMR (Electronic medical record) to provide a state-of-the-art medical service.
- Contracted cooperative relationship with Ansung Agricultural Association.
2008
- Opened ICF (Four members: one for English, one for Japanese one for administration clerk, and one for volunteer)
- Contracted Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Kyonggi-Do Foreign Investment Association.
- Contracted MOU with Pyongtac Agricultural Association, Phayngsung Agricultural Association, and Anjung Agricultural Association.
- Recognized as ‘Excellent Emergency Medical Center of 2008 year’ by Ministry of health and welfare.
- The second meeting of international friendship and academic seminar with Iljo-city people’s hospital of china in Korea.
- More than twenty medical treatment dept., about fifty medical specialists, 334 beds and 450 medical staffs.
2007
- The First meeting of international friendship and scientific seminar with Iljo-city people’s hospital of china in China
- Contracted cooperative relationship with Pyeongtak University
- Winning a prize of Secretary administrative autonomy on Day of 45th anniversary fire fighting (The safety supervision general person section about dangerous object)
- Got a prize for ‘Excellent Culture between Employees and Management’
- Contracted mother and child relationship with Family Medicine Department of Seoul National University Hospital
- Designated as a training hospital for intern and Resident in 2007 and 2008 year
- Designated as a agency for health management and measuring work environment by Ministry of Labor
- Joined the Red Cross society
2006
- Gained the 7th place in ‘2005 Evaluation the whole medium and small sized hospital’ by Ministry of health and welfare
- Announced GMH’s character, ‘Morningee’
- Announced ‘New Way’, GMH’ VISION 2016
- Opened the Cardiac & Vascular Center and Brought in new equipment for Angiogram
- Established sisterhood relationship with Duksan-li village in Inje-gun
- Contracted international friendship with ‘Iljo-city people’s hospital of china
- Gained the first place in ‘The 3rd Lifelong Study awards’ by Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development
- Designated as a training hospital for intern by Korea hospital association

2005
- For the first time established the new paradigm of working system among domestic general hospitals (40 hours working for one week) and lifelong learning system
- Designated as ‘Specific Medical Examination Facility’ by Ministry of Health and Welfare
- Got a grade ‘A’ in evaluation of Emergency Center by Ministry of Health and Welfare
- Installed new ERCP(Remote Controller), Painless ESWL, Echogram diagnosis
- Opened Auditorium ‘Haeolum’
2004
- Contracted MOU with New Paradigm Center
- Recognized as ‘Excellent Emergency Medical Center’ by Ministry of health and welfare
- Opened Artificial Kidney Center & Spinal center
2003
- Recognized as ‘Excellent Company in Equal Employment of Sexes’
- Won ‘The Grand Prize of Service Innovation by Korean Service Management Promotion Center
- Contracted cooperative relationship with Dankook University Hospital in Chunan
- Contracted industry-academic cooperation with Namseoul University
- Brought in most advanced function equipment of MRI(1.5T Philips)
- Opened endoscope center, cranial nerve paralysis center
2002
- Advanced to General hospital
- Designated as ‘Area Emergency Medical Center’ by Kyonggi-Do
- Contracted cooperative relationship with Ajou University Medical Center
- Designated as ‘Excellent Service Quality’ by Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy
2001
- Opened GMH of a subsidiary of Baksong Medical Foundation, which is the largest hospital in southern part of Kyunggi-do and specialized in cooperative medical services between western medical science and oriental medicine. (9 medical treatments, about 20 medical specialists and more than total 400 beds)
- Contracted cooperative relationship with Samsung Medical Center
